How to crack BIOS password of Toshiba Satellite A100 ?

This Toshiba BIOS password removal is practically done by me and I felt it is necessary to share this tip with detailed photos. Although there are so many blogs in net showing how to remove password,but i am sharing this only for Toshiba Satellite A100. If any of the below mentioned process is done incorrectly the result will be a system failure or permanent system damage.

1. This  is what you get when you power on your laptop.



2. Firstly remove the screws below the laptop's battery side and unscrew where LCD is holding on.

3. Remove the front panel just above the keyboard as shown in the image below.


4. After removing the panel locate the keyboard screws and remove it as shown in the image.


5.  Remove the keyboard slowly, be careful never disconnect the connection of keyboard from the mother board, place the keyboard above the motherboard as in the image.


6. Locate the wireless card in the right bottom as shown below, its a rectangle type and is fitted in motherboard just like RAM.

7. Remove the wireless card from the mother board slot by unscrewing two small screws on the card without disconnecting any wired connections to the board as shown in the image below.


8. After removing wireless card locate "C88" soldering ports just in front of the wireless card slot. For identifying easily i am inserting an image of the above mentioned ports.


9. Short both XX  C88 ports with a screw driver and switch on the laptop, that's it your bios password is cracked. 

Warning : No physical disconnections of cable is required just you have to remove wireless card from the motherboard slot. Carefully short the C88 ports , its very necessary to short the C88 XX ports carefully otherwise you will brick your laptop.

    Slt j'ai vu l'instruction mais je ne sais pas quoi faire exactement avec le tournevis est ce que c'est d'appuyer sur les deux xx?

      see the two soldering ports in right side parallel to xx short the two soldering ports with a screwdriver, tester or any conducting material simultaneously switch on the laptop and password is cracked

    Hi. I tried your technique, but now instead of asking for the user password it';s asking for the built-in HDD user password and shorting the jumpers doesn't seem to work.
